Bavaria Owners Living the Dream
Mike G's Bavaria 37 Cruiser was delivered to him in FL Spring 2007.
"LUNA SEA" has been sailed the Bahamas and this year saw Mike racing in the participating in the 2008 Ft. Lauderdale to Key West Race.
Mike says
" Here's an action photo at the start. A lot of people had heard of Bavarias - we didn't bring home any trophies, but had a great time."

Cal and Linda's Calabrese adventure began in 2006 with a cruise to the islands and back to Annapolis. This year they began with participation in the Carribean 1500 then on to a great holiday in the Virgin Islands.
An exerpt from Log of "GRAND PIROGUE" Bavaria 39 Cruiser.
"Evening descends again, but we have moved. Today (28th) we sailed from North Sound of Virgin Gorda, to Anagada. Leaving the volcanic hills of the main British Virgin Islands we set sail in 16 K of East Wind, passing Neckers Island (owned by Branson of Virgin Records and Airways fame) keeping it well to the east and on a heading of 003 we were making 6.5 knots with the trades steady on our starboard. Seas less than six feet provided a fairly easy ride, spilling a bit of air off the main with a twist from the traveler. Grand Pirogue rode easy, a waterline enough to avoid rounding and just the right amount of sail. A sail boat well trimmed and riding steady is a wonderful feeling, only the rush of the sea to the leeward, spray across the bow and an endless horizon and a warm sun over our shoulder and enhancing the darkening color of my skin. What more can one ask of life?"
